General - ATCo has defined this section to primarily include the various equipment
and personnel necessary to effectively support its four core technologies:
1. Electron Beam Welding
2. Laser Processing
3. GTA Welding
4. Machining
Specific - The support services are grouped in the following categories:
METALLURGY AND INSPECTION SERVICES
COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE
ATCo is meeting zero defect demands
with extensive in process monitoring by all employees. In addition, ATCo maintains a Metallurgical/Materials Lab and a complete
Inspection Lab to assure the incoming part condition meets the customers specifications.
CLEANING
ATCo
has the necessary equipment, in-house, to do the majority of pre & post cleaning operations.
ASSEMBLY
ATCo offers assembly services to complement today's customers desire for one stop shopping.
ATCo's technical Staff frequently meets with customer personnel to establish an interchange of ideas and information. This often provides suggestions on part design, specialized tooling, material selections and processes. Benefits derived often include cost savings, improved product reliability and enhanced quality.
ATCo believes in the TQM philosophy of joint working relationships between customer and supporting vendors. Working together as a TEAM is the key element in ensuring program success.
COMPUTER
AIDED: DESIGN, MANUFACTURING
Design - ATCo maintains a trained staff capable of providing computer
aided design system support (AUTOCAD INVENTOR) for our customers. Applications include Tooling and Product Design.
Manufacturing - ATCo has a fully integrated and computerized tracking system (Global Shop Solutions).
This system provides accurate data tracking for manufacturing control.
Machining - ATCo has a CAD/CAM system (FeatureCAM) to support its 2-Axis Turning and
4-Axis Milling Centers. The FeatureCAM system is capable of generating CNC machining programs from drawings while providing
3 dimensional surface modeling. This module along with the latest machining technology provides quality machining with tolerances
of +/- .0002". This same system is utilized to coordinate multi-axis operation of our Laser Processing and Electron Beam
Welding equipment.
ATCo has developed a trained staff in system programming to handle all of the above systems.
This capability provides distinct advantages to our customers.
